Prologue
'Peace' doesn't mean simply absence of dispute or reunification. Inspite of division, it can be 'peace in conflict' to experient common space and to arouse common emotion. In a situation of the division of Korea into north and south, we have something in common about the salpuri that arouses the same emotions of North and South. Salpuri is a sort of dance that show the will of hope about the better world by the process that we swallow and vent the deep sorrow and regret(恨), korean universal emotion through the introspection. Also, we introduce ‘the movement in tranquility(靜中動)’ that means the paradoxal structure of salpuri for inducing the emotion of peace. We walk and see softly, and then experience the restlessness of mind. The ‘observation platform for peace’ means ‘a bout of dancing’ that the North and South make together.
